Real D: The Future of Cinema
An article on the future of 3D in film can be found on ING.com. They explain Disney's Real D technology rather well and there are a few examples to browse through. Below is a video where this technology was used in the making of Meet the Robinsons. They show how they created a second camera to make the 3D possible, but what they forget to mention is that they only did a handful of shots like this...us kids from Digital Domain did over 1600 shots where we had to manually create the second camera etc, etc, etc, which truly made the 3D of this movie look so good.
